Complete your Online Club Registration
Note for Exisiting Members: As part of the roll-out of Friendly Manager, you will need to complete this registration form and create your account. You will be able to select you membership subscription for the upcoming season as part of this process.
With your online club account you will be able to manage all your contact details, preferences, and payments in one place.
Now that you have become a member of Surf Life Saving New Zealand, the next step is to complete our online club registration.
As part of completing this registration, we will set you up with an online account in Friendly Manager, the club’s club management software.
You will use Friendly manager to manage your membership, including:
keeping your personal and contact details up to date
managing your membership subscriptions
checking invoices and making payments
managing your contact preferences
keeping track of events happening within the club
Select the relevant form to complete the registration using the buttons below.
Complete the Junior Registration for children under 14 years and their parents, or if you are a family with multiple members (junior or senior) that use one email address.
Complete the Senior Registration for members 14 years and older who are registering with their own email address.
Note: parent’s details can also be added to ensure they receive communications, etc.
Tips and Tricks
Q. I’m an existing member of Lyall Bay, why do I have to do this?
A. Lyall Bay SLSC has moved to Friendly Manager to make our admin load easier and more streamline. We will be using friendly Manager for all invoicing and communications from this season forward and all current databases will be disposed of. This means if you do not register with Friendly Manager then you risk missing out on communications which will lead to missing out on further participation in Lyall Bay activities.
Q. How do I register multiple children?
A. Using the Nipper Registration/Family Registration form enter “Child 1” details then choose their “group” then click “Add another child” enter as many children as required following this process then proceed on with rest of the form.
Q. I want to register my whole family using the same email address, which form should I use?
A. Due to Friendly Manager using your email address as your personalised login you cannot have multiple users using the same email for individual accounts. If you wish to all use the same email this is fine just register the whole family using the Nipper Registration/Family Registration form, clicking “add another child” can also be used to add an adult as once you enter an age the form will recognise you as a senior member and open up groups your eligible for.
Q. I want to add my own personalised login separate to my family’s account?
A. Contact admin@lyallbayslsc.org.nz and provide us with an email different to the family one and we can change your account type generating your own login.
Q. Can I add a new member or child to my account?
A. Yes, you can do this by logging into your account and following the below steps:
Login,
Click Menu on the right hand side, then ‘Register (season)’,
Click ‘New Members’ for ‘Register the following people’,
Select the appropriate registration form and follow the flow of the form for the additional member.
Q. Do I have to pay my subscription fee as part of registering?
A. Friendly Manager allows us to take payments online using your debit or credit card, so you can make payments easily through the app. If that doesn’t suit you, you can still have the option to request an invoice and make payment by bank transfer like we have done in the past.
Q. My invoice looks wrong what do I do?
A. If you think your subscription fee is incorrect, please complete your registration and select the option to receive an invoice. Once you have your invoice, contact admin@lyallbayslsc.org.nz and we can review and amend as required before you make your payment.
